Our story

Welcome to Kim’s Rentals — a Carlsbad, CA -based small business specializing in easy, beautiful event backdrops and décor for every occasion.

I started this business with one simple idea: people shouldn’t have to spend thousands of dollars or hire a full event team to make their celebration feel special. Whether you’re hosting a bridal shower, birthday, or photo shoot, I make it simple — you pick up, set up, and shine. 

Every piece in my collection — from romantic flower walls to shimmer walls, balloon garlands, and drink walls  — was chosen to help you create a picture-perfect space without the stress. Each rental is cleaned, inspected, and ready for your big day, and I keep the process flexible and personal: quick pickup in Carlsbad, simple pricing, booking and friendly communication start to finish.
